FedEx provides me with the biggest revelation I’ve had in a long time

Alright, everyone’s seen the FedEx logo. I know you have. It’s almost as ubiquitous as Coke or the golden arches. And just as a reminder, here you go:

Normal, right? Not so. Never was. Best design “easter egg” ever. I’ve got to give credit to BadAssIdeas.com for opening my eyes:

That picture is from their site, so I have to give credit where credit is due. I’ve never seen that arrow before in my life. I feel like such a fool and now I can’t stop staring at it. Way to go, Landor Associates.

It’s been said that only kids can see the arrow right off the bat. Because they can’t read; they just see the shapes. And they see the arrow and recognize it before the letters.

Someone told me about this awhile ago. But you were probably still in diapers, so it’s okay that you just found out ;)

I found out about the arrow in college and couldn’t believe that I hadn’t noticed it earlier. It’s so simple. And from now on, you’ll never look at a FedEx truck without looking for the arrow.

I’m proud of the fact that I knew this already.

I am just using this post as an excuse to talk about my love for fedex. They are one of only two shipping methods i truly trust. The other being lonestar overnight, which is lesser known and only available in select states. These are the only shipping methods that have up to the minute tracking, many tracking checkpoints, cheap prices, and always come on time. Ask me sometime about why i will never voluntarily give another cent to the United States Postal Service ever again. I dare you.
