Apple’s Safari now available on PCs

7 April 2008 by David in David's Job

Maybe I missed this one somewhere, but as a Web designer, this makes me pretty happy: I now have Apple’s Safari on my PC. I don’t know if this is a big deal or not, but in order to get it, download the latest version of iTunes and it comes alongside.

Working with the Internet, every browser (Firefox, IE, Safari, etc.) interprets parts of the code that makes sites run differently. This can lead to excruciating headaches and ugly hacks to make things work across the board. Now, when testing sites, I apparently won’t have to go find a Mac to try out the links on; it’s right there on my PC.
