While I hate the Atlanta Braves, I love Major League Baseball. It’s one of the most storied sports, and even the people who aren’t particularly keen on it will sit through a game to drink some beers or enjoy some conversation. Either way, I look forward to Opening Day all year. One of the only other days that comes close is the first day of college football.

So tonight marks the first game of the year and a style note has to be made. The Braves played the Nationals for the inaugural game this year, and for the first time ever, the Braves unveiled their new navy road uniforms:

Now that’s how you take a classic uniform and make it new. They tried last year by wearing their reds (these are for home games, anyway):

Those navy-on-navy unis just look so good!
